Regan and Thrills on Shortlist longlist



Irish Gaelic artists Fionn Regan and The Thrills are among the 54 acts of the Apostles on the longlist for the prestigious Shortlist Music Prize in the US.
Regan is longlisted for his debut record album 'The Conclusion of History' patch The Thrills are longlisted for their latest album 'Teenager'.
Among the book of Judges of the 2008 loot ar Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody and the Killers' Ronnie Vannucci.
Ten acts will be shortlisted for the award betimes in 2008.
Quat Powerfulness north Korean won the Shortlist Music Award last year for her record album 'The Greatest'; previous winners include Damien Rice, TV on the Radiocommunication, Sigur Ros and Grind.
Among the other acts on the 2008 longlist are: Colonnade Ardor ('Neon Bible'), Bjork ('Volta'), Eddie Vedder ('Into the Wild' soundtrack), Fice ('The Reminder'), Jolly Ritter ('The Historical Conquests of Banter Ritter'), Kings of Leon ('Because of the Times'), MIA ('Kala'), PJ William Harvey ('White Chalk') and Wilco ('Sky Blue Sky').
